]]> The Ivorian Head of State Alassane Dramane Ouattara received on Tuesday, in Abidjan, Gianni Infantino, President of the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA) accompanied by the new boss of the African Football Confederation (CAF), Patrice Motsepe.

The latter was joined on the evening of Monday, May 3, 2021, in Abidjan, by the president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino and the secretary general of the body, Fatma Samoura.

Just on his arrival on Monday in the Ivorian economic capital, Patrice Motsepe began his visit with an internal meeting with members of his delegation composed mainly of his vice-presidents.

He then had an important working session with members of the standardization commission of the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF), before meeting with his special advisor, Ambassador Jacques Anouma.

During their meeting, which is part of the launch of a Pan-African inter-school football tournament in Abidjan, football officials spoke with Alassane Ouattara on AFCON 2023 to be held in his country.

“We discussed the CAN 2023 to be held in Côte d’Ivoire and the important role that our country must play in African and world football.” said the Head of State after their meeting.

]]> Le président de la Fédération internationale de football Association (FIFA), Gianni Infantino a été reçu en audience ce jeudi 25 février 2021 par le chef de l’Etat Béninois Patrice Talon.

Gianni Infantino, qui était au Maroc hier, a continué pour une visite officielle au Bénin.

La rencontre de M. Talon avec le Président de la FIFA a lieu en présence des responsables du football béninois, notamment le ministre des sports, Oswald Homéky et le président de la Fédération béninoise de football, Mathurin de Chacus.

C’est la seconde visite du patron de la FIFA au pays des Écureuils
depuis l’avènement du régime de la rupture.

Bien que les points de discussion de cette rencontre n’ont pas été rendus publics, elle intervient quelques jours après la réception d’un émissaire ivoirien par le Président Talon dans le cadre de la prochaine élection présidentielle de la Confédération Africaine de football (CAF).
